Engineering Spec Service

Engineered Excavator Service to ISO 9001 and Plant Safety Standards

Hydraulic flow recalibration · Tier 4 Final emissions audits · undercarriage rebuild windows tied to operating hours — documented for EPC reliability leads and quarry fleet managers running Sunward excavators.

Service Tiers Mapped to Excavator Duty Cycles

Choose the inclusion band that matches mass earthworks, quarry loading, urban trenching or long-reach corridor work. Documentation packs ship with every contracted visit, including hydraulic system pressure logs, ISO 4406 cleanliness samples and undercarriage wear measurements keyed to hour meters rather than calendar months alone. Procurement teams can paste the tier matrix into bid responses without rewriting OEM language.

Tier Inclusion Hydraulic / Undercarriage Audit Documentation
T1 Mass Earthworks 24/7 dispatch · travel-motor warranty Quarterly slew-bearing & track-tension checks ISO 9001 audit pack + Tier 4 NOx log
T2 Quarry Loading Scheduled bucket & tip rebuilds Monthly hydraulic cleanliness sampling Breakout-force trend chart
T3 Urban Utilities Zero-tail-swing geometry checks Auxiliary circuit pressure verification Municipal bid emissions packet
T4 Long-Reach Corridor Annual boom pin NDT Pilot pressure & counterweight audit Lift-assist method statement pack

Four-Step Reliability Methodology

The sequence below is how Sunward field engineers convert hour-meter exports into a signed reliability pack your engineer of record can file with the client.

  1. 01

    ISO 9001 Service Scope

Bank cubic meters, average digging depth and attachment mix are written into the service contract so spare kits match real excavator duty instead of generic PM calendars copied from unrelated machine classes.

  2. 02

    Tier 4 Final Emissions Audit

DPF and SCR samples under load follow the ISO 8178 C1 cycle and are submitted to the project EHS officer with DEF consumption trends that survive municipal bid audits.

  3. 03

    Hydraulic Cleanliness Recalibration

Main-pump flow and pilot pressure are brought back to OEM tolerance; ISO 4406 particle counts are logged before the excavator returns to the cut so breaker duty cannot starve travel motors.

  4. 04

    Reliability Reporting

MTBF, MTTR and undercarriage wear rates are signed by the Sunward reliability lead and filed with the contractor’s engineer of record after every contracted service window.
